Young Entrepreneurship Association

Karin has been an honorary member of Young Entrepreneurship Association since 2017 after her seven years as chairperson for the organisation in Jämtland Härjedalen. "That was when I ran a Young Entrepreneurship-company in the second year of high school and finally felt like - oh, it can actually be this fun to learn in school?." Already then and especially in turned clearer later, I understood that Young Entrepreneurship has an important role to play in young people's development and education. Research and results show clear connections between young people, especially girls who have pursued YE and later start-ups, completed studies, had higher average salaries, and higher managerial positions. These are obvious ingredients that created a commitment to lead and develop the association's activities for a long time.

Now the organization that Young Entrepreneurship is part of is nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, which is the privilege of being involved in a work that has led to it.
