Community Based Tourism

The South Sinai Bedouin Tribes are working together as one with the Sinai Trail, Egypt’s first long distance hiking trail. Community Based Tourism in a small sustainable scale to stimulate the transfer of knowledge and preservation of culture from the elders to the younger generation and also create income for the locals. Linda hiked the trail for ten days as part of a storytelling team. With the production we will support the Sinai Trail to help them promote themselves. Linda feels more than honoured to be a contributor in such a great project and can’t wait to go back again. Baking bread with the Bedouin women the way it’s been than for decades, joining in as spectator on a camel race and sleeping under the stars in the desert is experiences forever lasting in her memory.
